Job summary

BOC Group Life Assurance Company Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Product Development Manager to drive the end-to-end lifecycle of life insurance products, from ideation to launch, guided by market insights and governance.

You will partner with distribution, lead cross-functional teams across actuarial, operations, systems and risk, develop documentation, and support Day 2 readiness while mentoring staff to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in the insurance industry, focusing on product development, marketing, channel development or actuarial.
Strong communication skills and the ability to drive performance through change.
Agile mindset with strong execution and collaboration capabilities.
Commercially minded, analytical, and a strategic thinker.
Detail-oriented with solid presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
Partner with distribution to validate product requirements and align with business objectives.
Lead cross-functional collaboration across actuarial, operations, systems and risk.
Develop and maintain product documentation, contracts, illustrations, and manuals.
Support Day 2 product maintenance, including enhancements and change assessments.
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliant product changes.
Lead and nurture staff to build a high-performing team.
