China CITIC Bank International Limited is seeking an Assistant General Manager & Team Head, Banking Operations to lead the Banking Operations Team and oversee all services with a focus on efficiency, quality, and strong controls.

The role involves aligning processes with business strategies, supervising compliance with policies, and driving enhancements across account opening, investigations, and customer service operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in managerial level.
• Broad knowledge in Customer Due Diligence, AMLO, FATCA, CRS & Companies Ordinance.
• Familiar with individual and business account opening process, and account investigation process.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Lead Banking Operations Team and manage all services provided by teams in an efficient and cost effective manner with high quality and adequate controls.
• Define and deliver best functional alignment, process priorities, and knowledge on banking controls, market knowledge and product knowledge.
• Establish adherence to departmental guidelines and bank policy compliance.
• Track deliverable quality and produce monthly reports for senior management review.
• Identify and mitigate process gaps, incidents, and risks with emphasis on controls and efficiency.
• Advise on operations perspectives for new products and services launches and design workflows for programs.
• Drive operational efficiency projects including process automation and paperless operations.
