Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong is seeking a Business Development Specialist to promote the HKIA Logistics Park (HKIALP) and drive adoption with airlines, freight forwarders and direct customers. You will expand volumes through proactive stakeholder engagement and strategic BD initiatives.

You will build and nurture customer relationships, monitor performance, and lead market research to identify trends and opportunities. Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Putonghua) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport, Aviation, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in aviation-related companies; business development or sales background preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and results-oriented mindset.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with strong analytical and report-writing capabilities.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage business stakeholders, including airlines, freight forwarding companies and direct customers, to promote the HKIA Logistics Park (HKIALP), drive adoption and follow up on initiatives to facilitate volume development.
• Nurture relationships with current customers to expand business.
• Monitor volume performance and proactively follow up to ensure targets are met.
• Formulate and implement business development plans and develop new services.
• Take the lead in preparing internal papers, circulars and data analyses to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities and threats.
