Job summary

Airport Authority Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned IT project manager to lead the HKIA Cargo Data Platform and related digital projects. You will map processes, design solutions, and coordinate with internal users, partners, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and effective adoption.

The role requires strong English and Chinese communication, hands-on project management in logistics tech, and a track record in driving data-driven business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 6 years of IT solution project management experience, with at least 4 years in logistics/supply chain systems.
• Air freight experience and/or qualifications such as PMP/PSM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the HKIA Cargo Data Platform and other digital system projects.
• Conduct process mapping and support development of functional specs and solution design.
• Serve as a key contact point for internal users, business partners and stakeholders.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables and issues; facilitate user testing and training.
• Perform data analytics on operational, adoption, and market-related data to identify trends and insights.
• Support marketing and stakeholder engagement activities for digital platforms and communications content.
• Drive adoption of HKIA Cargo Data Platform among external stakeholders.

• Perform data analytics on operational, adoption, and market-related data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that support business development initiatives
• Support marketing and stakeholder engagement activities for the digital platforms, including the preparation of promotional materials, case studies, success stories, and communication content.
• Drive the adoption of the HKIA Cargo Data Platform and other digital solutions among external stakeholders (including regulated agents, airlines, and logistics partners)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/ Business Administration/ Logistics Management or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in managing IT solution projects, including at least 4 years of experience in logistics and supply chain systems
• Air freight experience and/ or professional qualifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent are preferred
• Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in logistics and e-commerce industry is an advantage
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and meticulous with strong attention to details
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
