Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited is seeking a seasoned professional to enhance our deposit product development and payment business. You will drive data-driven insights from MIS and customer feedback to shape marketing strategies and campaigns, while coordinating with sales channels to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Quantitative Analysis/Business Analytics/ Economics or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years solid experience in product development/management for deposit, loans, card investment or insurance products in banking.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proactive deposit portfolio management and payment business based on MIS, market trend and bank strategy.
• Assist in development of marketing strategies and campaigns to enhance deposit products and payment business.
• Involve in data mining and customer insights to formulate holistic product and payment propositions.
• Support new initiatives and participate in new product development and system/process enhancements.
• Collaborate with sales channels to achieve business targets and liaise with internal/external parties to deliver timely results.
• Monitor marketing campaign performance and develop materials for ATL/BTL campaigns.
• Prepare reports for program tracking and senior management presentations.
• Perform competitive analysis and provide recommendations for competitiveness.
• Analyze customer/product/campaign MIS to understand behavior and trends for improvements.
• Ensure adherence to AML/CFT controls and CNCBI policies; look for value-added opportunities.

Job description

Assist in proactive deposit portfolio management and payment business based on MIS, market trend, bank’s strategy as well as macro economy

Assist in the development of marketing strategies and marketing campaigns to enhance deposit products and payment business, and create incremental revenue to the business

Assist in formulation of holistic deposit product and payment business proposition through ongoing & robust data mining (customer behavior analysis), insight from customer voice as well as learning from professional target marketing activities

Support new initiatives and participate in new product development and system / process enhancement projects

Work closely with different sales channels to achieve business targets

Liaise with internal departments, and other external parties to deliver quality service and achieve business deliverables in an effective and timely manner

Participate in planning, implementing and monitoring of marketing campaign performance and competitiveness and develop marketing materials including above-the-line and below-the-line campaigns

Prepare relevant reports for program tracking and evaluation for continuous improvement

Prepare relevant business proposals and reports for presentation to senior management

Perform competitive analysis with constructive advice for competitiveness

Analyze customer / product / campaign MIS to understand customer behaviour, and trend for continuous improvement of the designated areas of deposit business

Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Demonstrates initiative to go beyond the normal routine and look for new ways to add value.

Requirements:

Preferably a Degree holder or equivalent in Finance / Quantitative Analysis / Business Analytics / Economics or related disciplines

Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in product development/ management for deposit, loans, card investment or insurance products preferably in banking field

Sound retail banking product (e.g. Debit card, ATM card, CA/SA etc) and payment vehicle (e.g. FPS, QR code payment, cross-border payment) knowledge & understanding of basic regulatory requirements

Good project management, presentation and communication skills

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
