Job summary

Dah Sing Financial Group in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced product manager to drive deposit and multi‑currency debit card initiatives. You will work with cross‑functional teams to grow portfolios, optimize pricing, enhance customer experience, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in business or marketing and at least 5 years in retail banking, with strong analytical and communication skills in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in retail banking with branch operations exposure.
• Knowledge of deposit and debit card products, operations and marketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop deposit product strategies to grow portfolio, profitability and balance targets.
• Drive debit card acquisition, activation, transaction volume and customer engagement.
• Monitor portfolio performance, customer behavior, market trends and competitor activities.
• Support promotional campaigns and customer reward programs.
• Prepare business reports, forecasts and portfolio reviews for management.
• Coordinate cross‑functional support for smooth program launches and fulfillment.
• Coordinate UAT testing and post‑launch reviews for implemented initiatives.
• Analyze competitors' activities to understand market trends.
• Monitor campaign results and track program performance.
• Manage budgets and expenses, including invoicing.
• Conduct regular sales performance reviews.

Job description

Support the management and growth of Deposit and Multi-Currency Debit Card products by driving product development, portfolio growth, pricing strategies, customer acquisition, utilization, profitability, and customer experience enhancement.

The role will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute business initiatives, maintain product competitiveness, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of deposit product strategies to achieve portfolio growth, balance targets, and profitability objectives.
• Develop initiatives to drive debit card acquisition, activation, transaction volume, and customer engagement.
• Monitor deposit and debit card portfolio performance, customer behavior, market trends, competitor activities.
• Support implementation of promotional campaigns and customer reward programs.
• Conduct product performance analysis and prepare business reports, forecasts, and portfolio reviews for management.
• Work closely with all internal departments to grain their support for smooth program launch and fulfilment
• Coordinate UAT testing and post-launch reviews to ensure successful implementation of new initiatives.
• Proactively analyze competitors’ business and marketing activities to understand market trend
• Monitor campaign response and prepare the program result tracking
• Budget and expenses management (including invoice settlement)
• Assist to conduct regular sales performance review

To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of experience in retail banking business, exposure to branch operation, segment management and marketing campaigns is preferable
• Knowledge in overall banking products especially deposit and debit card, operation & process flow, marketing activities, segment management and management skills
• Good communication & interpersonal skills, analytical and track record of effective marketing campaigns are an advantage
• Good team player and detail oriented
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
