Job summary

Marsh in Hong Kong is seeking a talented professional to join our Corporate Team. Based in Hong Kong, you will lead on personal accounts, set goals, implement action plans, monitor progress and ensure service excellence while safeguarding the firm from Errors & Omissions.

You will draft client documents, conduct market research, refine data analyses for proposals, address escalations, and support complex relationships with underwriters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder or above.
• Holder of ACII or ANZIIF is preferable.
• 8+ years experience in broking/ general insurance industry.
• Good PC Skills, including Words (English and Chinese), Excel & Power Point.
• Ambitious, solution focus and strong skills in client and underwriters relationship management.
• Good Command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Leads on personal accounts by setting goals, plans, and monitoring progress to meet client expectations.
• Drafts comprehensive client documents including white papers, approaches, quantitative analyses or presentations to support sales opportunities.
• Conducts research on markets or industries to identify growth opportunities.
• Performs data analyses to support proposal creation and client presentations.
• Addresses escalated issues timely, mitigates relationship risks and elevates major issues when needed.
• Provides technical and transactional support for complex relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Develops strong relationships with client counterparts at the client organization.
• Attends industry events to build a network and represent Marsh.
• Coaches junior staff through leading by example.

Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Team at Marsh. This role will be based in Hong Kong.We will count on you to:

Leads on personal accounts by setting goals and implements action plans, monitoring progress, assuring service meets or exceeds client expectations, and protecting the firm from Errors & Omissions.

Drafts essential comprehensive project documents intended for clients including: white papers, approaches, quantitative financial analyses or general presentations on new subjects or opportunities to support the creation of sales opportunities and account backing.

Conducts research on various markets or industries as designated to find resources on new growth areas and trends for expansion for internal use to identify growth opportunities.

Conducts and refines data analyses to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.

Addresses escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, helps manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks and applies judgement as to when to elevate major issues to senior level colleagues ensuring compliance.

Offers technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and facilitate a mutual internal and external understanding.

Develops strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organization

Attends and participates in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.

Coaches the junior team members through leading by example.

What you need to have:
