Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years as an assistant manager in a restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
• Able to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks.
• Experience with inventory management software and financial reports.
• Food safety certification preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager with all aspects of the restaurant's operations.
• Train and mentor new staff and provide ongoing coaching and support.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and efficient service.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Monitor budget and financial performance by analyzing sales data and making recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Handle customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Attend meetings with the management team to discuss operational issues and propose solutions.
• Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback and conduct relevant training as necessary.
• Assist with staff scheduling and payroll management.
