Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Hong Kong is seeking a Reservations professional to support the reservations team with daily tasks and guest inquiries. You will uphold Forbes and IHG True Hospitality standards, coach the team on service quality, and stay knowledgeable about the hotels products and services.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, including management, OPERA PMS proficiency, and fluency in English. Local language ability is required.

• Bachelors degree in Hotel Management or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience, including management experience.
• OPERA PMS experience is required.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Must speak local language.

Responsibilities

• Assist reservations team with daily tasks and guest inquiries.
• Maintain high service levels in line with Forbes and IHG True Hospitality standards.
• Coach and monitor reservation team performance and service quality.
• Be knowledgeable about the hotels products and services.
• Respond to guest requests accurately and promptly.
• Regularly communicate with guests to ensure expectations are met.
• Contribute to revenue targets through upsell and cross-sell initiatives.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Assist the reservations team in performing daily tasks and responding to guest room enquiries
• Ensure that all guest interactions are at the highest level adhering to both Forbes and IHG True Hospitality standards
• Supervise, coach and monitor reservation team's performance and service quality
• Be knowledgeable of all of the hotel’s products and services
• Respond to guest requests in an accurate and timely manner
• Regularly communicate with guests to ensure expectations are met
• Assist in delivering the revenue target of the hotel by making upsell and cross sell revenue targets

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management or related field
• 5+ years’ related experience, including management experience
• Previous experience with OPERA PMS
• Must speak local language, Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Reservations Supervisor
