Job summary

Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction team focused on E&M, building, and fit-out projects. You will assist in take-offs, cost estimation, tender submissions, and prepare subcontract packages while monitoring costs and budgets.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in QS or related discipline, 1–3 years of QS experience, and strong Cantonese and English communication.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
1–3 years of relevant QS experience in construction, E&M, fit-out, or building projects.
Familiarity with tendering procedures, cost control, and contract administration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of Cantonese and English; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

Assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and tender submissions.
Prepare subcontract packages, payment valuations, and variation assessments.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
Support contract administration and maintain project documentation.
Prepare progress reports and cost reports for management review.
Liaise with internal project teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
