Job summary

Max China Engineering Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to manage contracts, prepare interim payments and assist with final accounts and cost control. The role involves cost estimation, budgeting and tender pricing, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate will hold a quantity surveying qualification, have at least 3 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong English and Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or higher cert in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Degree or above in QS with professional qualifications such as MHKIS MRICS RPS.
• HKIS QS Corporate Membership or equivalent.
• Min. 3 years relevant experience in quantity surveying.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the administration of main contract and subcontracts.
• Responsible for interim payments preparation and measurement works.
• Settlement of final accounts of main contracts and subcontracts.
• Valuation of compensation events and site instructions for subcontracts.
• Project cost estimation, cost control and budget management.
• Prepare and submit pricing documents for tender submissions.
• Material procurement, subletting and prepare subcontractors' payments.
