Job summary

Gemini Personnel Limited is assisting a reputable bank in Hong Kong to recruit a high-caliber Sales Executive for SME Banking. You will develop partnerships and acquire new SME accounts to achieve sales targets.

Requirements include at least 3 years in retail or SME banking, strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred), and knowledge of SME products. Salary is competitive with fringe benefits; compensation depends on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in retail banking or SME/Commercial Banking.
• Good knowledge of SME banking products.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin preferred.
• IIQE Paper 1 and 2 holder preferred.

About the role

Reporting to Section Head, Business Development, you will develop partnerships and acquire new SME banking accounts to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new SME accounts and generate referrals through partners and associations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners
• Achieve individual KPI targets through business solicitation and sales referrals
• Conduct client outreach via calls and face-to-face meetings, including sales presentations
• Promote SME banking products including deposits, credit cards and payroll services

About you

• Secondary education or above
• Minimum 3 years sales experience in retail sales or SME / Commercial Banking
• Outgoing, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Good knowledge of SME banking products
• Good presentation and communication skills in English and Chinese
• Mandarin proficiency highly preferred
• IIQE Paper 1 and 2 holder preferred.
