Job summary

Howden, a leading global insurance intermediary, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager to join our P&C broking team in Hong Kong. You will support corporate risk and personal lines, manage client relationships, and assist in quoting and policy documentation.

The ideal candidate holds an insurance qualification (IIQE Papers 1 & 2), has 3–5 years of broking experience, and is proficient with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma with insurance qualifications to practice as an insurance broker in Hong Kong (IIQE Papers 1 & 2) required.
• 3–5 years of experience in insurance broking, including corporate and commercial sectors.
• Good understanding of insurance products, claims processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly driven, energetic with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive client relationships by supporting account servicing, underwriting processes and claims assistance as needed.
• Manage and prepare insurance quotations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee and provide governance on the review and verification of policy documents for new cases and renewals, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide insurance advice, address client inquiries, and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely information to maintain customer satisfaction and trust.
• Assist in Property and Casualty (P&C) broking, including corporate risk and personal lines.
