Job summary

KOS International Limited based in Hong Kong is seeking a hands-on HR professional to support full spectrum HR operations and the employee lifecycle across frontline and corporate populations.

You will manage onboarding, payroll coordination, HRIS maintenance, policy guidance, recruitment support, performance and engagement initiatives, and reporting, with a strong emphasis on compliance with the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.

Qualifications

  • Degree in HR or related discipline.
  • HR generalist with payroll exposure.
  • Experience in mass retail or labour-intensive environments preferred.
  • Hands-on experience supporting frontline workforce.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of HK Employment Ordinance and HR best practices.
  • Detail-minded, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Senior candidates may be considered for Assistant Manager or Manager.

About The Client
Our client is a F&B retailer, currently hiring a hands-on HR professional to join their team and support full spectrum of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.

About The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR function, ensuring smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience across both frontline and corporate populations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions and offboarding
  • Oversee monthly payroll preparation and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
  • Handle employee enquiries and provide support on HR policies, benefits, attendance and leave administration
  • Support recruitment activities for frontline and office-based positions
  • Assist in performance management, employee engagement and training initiatives
  • Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics and relevant documentation for management review
  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and internal policies
  • Participate in HR process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
  • HR generalist experience with exposure to payroll and HR operations
  • Experience gained from mass retail, food & beverage, telecom, catering, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, or other labour-intensive environments is highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience in supporting a sizeable frontline workforce would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems and employee data management
  • Good understanding of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and HR best practices
  • Detail-minded, organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Manager level, while more experienced candidates may be considered for Manager level
