Job summary

Amix Global Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant HR Manager to support expanding retail operations in Hong Kong and Macau. You will develop HR strategies, oversee recruitment, payroll, data administration, and ensure regulatory compliance, while coaching leaders and driving engagement.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, regional knowledge of HK and Macau laws, and the ability to optimize HR analytics for frontline productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related discipline.
• 8+ years HR experience, retail experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws; Macau experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, retail operations, and regional requirements.
• Manage recruitment, payroll, HR data administration and MPF/tax matters.
• Lead workforce planning, manpower budgeting, headcount management, and seasonal staffing.
• Advise and coach senior leaders, line managers, and store managers on organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and frontline productivity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong and Macau employment regulations and optimize HR systems and workforce analytics.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as required.

Our client is a retail brand with strong global existence. To cope with their expansion in Hong Kong and Macau, they are now looking for an Assistant HR Manager to join them.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, retail operations, and regional requirements.

Responsible for full spectrum of HR tasks including but not limited to recruitment & selection, payroll processing, HR data administration and MPF / taxation matters

Lead workforce planning, manpower budgeting, headcount management, and seasonal staffing.

Advise and coach senior leaders, line managers, and store managers on organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.

Drive employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and frontline productivity initiatives.

Ensure compliance with Hong Kong and Macau employment regulations and optimize HR systems and workforce analytics.

Handle ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

8+ years of HR experience, with experience in retail industry an advantage

Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws; Macau labour law experience is an advantage.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR or data-analysis tools.

Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English
