Job summary

Synergis is seeking an energetic professional to fill the post of Assistant Facility Manager in Hong Kong. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance, supervise in-house workmen, and coordinate with contractors to ensure smooth operations of our facilities.

The role requires a diploma or higher certificate in Building or Building Studies, at least 3 years’ FM experience, and bilingual English/Chinese proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building or Building Studies or above.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in property / Facility management.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently.
• Proficient in MS applications, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD and building/ maintenance information system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise in-house and outsourced day-to-day maintenance and repair works in building.
• Supervise in-house workmen to finish the daily R&M works in building.
• Monitor and record all aspects of maintenance programs as well as prepare relevant monthly reports, tender documents and contract administration.
• Enforce safety for works carried out by direct labours and contractors.
• Attend the Hard FM meetings with landlord, government departments and contractors to technical enquiries and issues.
• Perform ad hoc duty and attend emergency call out duty as assigned; and
• 6 day work.
