Hong Kong Metropolitan University seeks an Assistant Director of Information Technology (Management Information Systems) to lead the MIS team and oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of key university systems such as HR, financial, and CRM platforms.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive Oracle ERP experience, and proven ability to drive system projects in a large academic environment, with fluency in English and Chinese.

Competenze

• A recognised degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Substantial knowledge and experience with Oracle e-Business Suite, ERP systems, and online self-services; managerial experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in web/application/database server administration and configuration.
• Strong leadership, proactive, and analytical problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English and Chinese.

• Leading the Management Information Systems team to plan, develop, enhance, and maintain management information systems for the University.
• Developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and guidelines for quality services.
• Managing internal and external resources to implement application system projects.
• Providing professional advice and support to users on application system implementation.
