Job summary

Recruit Logic Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Application Support Analyst for an Investment bank. You will act as the HK-based liaison among TechOps, clients, internal staff, and global Sales, Research, and Asset Management teams.

You will coordinate operations, onboard applications to production, manage Docker-based deployments, and drive logging, metrics, and automation to strengthen reliability. The ideal candidate has a degree in IT/CS and 5–8 years in application support, with banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, CS, or related field.
• 5–8 years in application support, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong Unix scripting for automation and operational support.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker).
• Familiarity with Elastic Search/Logstash/Kibana stack is a plus.
• OS knowledge: Windows 10/7, RHEL.
• Experience with Kettle Pentaho for ETL and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HK-based liaison between TechOps, clients, staff, and global Sales, Research, and Asset Management development teams.
• Coordinate operational activities, ensuring alignment of technology deliverables with business priorities in all three domain areas.
• Ensure all Research and Asset Management IT teams maintain TechOps standards and procedures.
• Foster a DevOps mindset and culture across the Sales, Research, and Asset Management technology functions for greater automation, collaboration, and operational efficiency.
• Work with developers to onboard applications into production — including research publication tools, sales enablement platforms, and asset management investment systems.
• Coordinate deployment processes for containerized environments within Research and Asset Management IT (CI/CD, version control).
• Influence and coach developers to improve logging, application performance metrics, and error diagnostics for reliability.

Operational Standards & Culture

Ensure all Research and Asset Management IT teams maintain TechOps standards and procedures.

Foster a DevOps mindset and culture across the Sales, Research, and Asset Management technology functions for greater automation, collaboration, and operational efficiency.

Work with developers to properly onboard applications into the production environment — including research publication tools, sales enablement platforms, and asset management investment systems.

Coordinate deployment processes for containerized environments within Research and Asset Management IT (manage container image repositories, version control, and CI/CD pipelines).

Influence and coach developers to improve logging, application performance metrics, and error diagnostics to strengthen operational reliability in client-facing systems and investment platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in IT, Computer Science and any related discipline.

5 – 8 years experience in application support, preferably in banking /FI.

Strong Unix scripting for automation and operational support.

Experience with containerized environments (Docker).

Familiarity with Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana stack (good to have).

OS knowledge: Windows 10/7, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Experience with Kettle Pentaho for ETL and reporting.
