Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 15 years hands-on credit risk, private debt or structured finance.
• Technical mastery: accounting concepts, security structures, intercreditor dynamics, and recovery frameworks across APAC.
• Product depth: experience in senior secured, mezzanine, asset-backed, and cash-flow debt.
• Exclusions: not syndicated loan agency, passive portfolio monitoring, or retail/relationship-management focused roles.
• Leadership: mentoring junior staff and presenting to investment/credit committees.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk evaluation and deal-structuring for bespoke financing including senior secured, mezzanine, asset-backed, and privatization.
• Perform debt capacity modeling, collateral valuation, and security design to safeguard recoveries.
• Co-lead and mentor senior/junior analysts and drive underwriting standards.
• Manage cross-border credit risk across Greater China and ASEAN.
• Evaluate stressed positions and execute restructuring when necessary.
