Job summary

Gauntlet is seeking a senior Business Development professional to own the APAC region end-to-end, originating and closing partnerships that feed Gauntlet's vault products with fintechs, exchanges, and asset managers across APAC. You will manage in-region relationships, build your own pipeline, and provide local-hours coverage to convert regional demand into a durable book.

Applicants should have 6+ years of experience, including 4+ years in partnerships or BD in APAC, with a track record selling

Qualifications

• 6+ years of work experience, including 4+ years in partnerships, BD, or sales in APAC
• Track record of selling technical-based solutions to non-technical audiences
• Experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder deals with regulated financial institutions
• Working knowledge of crypto/DeFi and APAC regulatory landscape (FSA, MAS, etc.)
• Comfort operating independently as the senior-most Gauntlet presence in your timezone

Responsibilities

• Own the full deal cycle for APAC partnerships: discovery, qualification, structuring, negotiation, close, and post-close activation
• Manage and grow Gauntlet's in-region relationships and convert warm introductions into active opportunities
• Originate pipeline with APAC fintechs, exchanges, asset managers, and protocols
• Provide local-hours coverage for APAC partners and prospects, represent Gauntlet at regional events
• Navigate regional regulatory nuance and structure partnerships within today’s rules
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance in the US
