Job summary

CIBC is seeking an HR Officer for the Asia Pacific region to translate business needs into integrated HR solutions. You will manage HR administration, employee data, and regional HR operations across APAC, partnering with global HR services and centers of expertise.

The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work in a matrix environment. Regular office hours with potential long hours during peak projects.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of HR operations and policies.
• Experience with HR governance and compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR Operations: onboarding, offboarding, background checks, and visa processing.
• Assist regional compensation and benefits and payroll activities.
• Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS (Workday).
• Manage HR records and compliance per framework.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding and contract renewals; process invoices.
• Prepare monthly headcount reports for APAC.
• Assist in ad hoc HR tasks as needed.
