Job summary

Global Sage is seeking an HR Manager to partner with senior leadership across Hong Kong and Taiwan, aligning HR strategy with business goals. The role covers workforce planning, talent development, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations including recruitment and data management.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with executives, manage stakeholder expectations, and execute HR programs with integrity and confidentiality in a fast-paced, regional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
• Experience in retail, luxury, fashion, FMCG, cosmetics, or other multinational consumer-facing industries preferred.
• Solid HR generalist knowledge across recruitment, employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
• Strong knowledge of labor law and HR compliance requirements and best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for executive engagement.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a lean, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Support managers in driving high-performing teams and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Advise on employee relations matters, organizational changes, and people-related decisions.
• Translate business goals into practical HR plans and priorities.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities to attract and retain top talent.
• Oversee onboarding, data management, and HR recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with APAC Shared Services to ensure smooth HR operations.
• Support budgeting, headcount planning, and workforce forecasting.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and people analytics for decision-making.
• Provide guidance on local labor law and HR policies to ensure compliance.
• Drive leadership development initiatives and succession planning.
