The University of Hong Kong invites applications for the role of Manager, Development and Alumni (Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics. The appointee will help plan and deliver alumni engagement initiatives, events, chapters, and campaigns in a two-year fixed-term appointment with a gratuity and retirement benefits.

The successful candidate will hold a degree, have at least six years’ related experience, be proficient in CMS, databases, Canva and MS Office, and demonstrate

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in a relevant discipline.
• Six years of relevant experience in event management, alumni engagement or related fields.
• Proficient in CMS, database management, Canva and MS Office.
• Strong project management, analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement the Faculty's alumni engagement strategies and initiatives (Alumni Forum, Homecoming, giving campaigns, events, reunions).
• Manage a portfolio of local and international alumni chapters and provide developmental support.
• Build and network with internal and external stakeholders to advance engagement objectives.
• Manage event timelines, logistics and budgets; liaise with parties for smooth delivery.
• Prepare promotional materials and maintain websites/social media.
• Provide secretariat support to alumni chapters/professors (scheduling, reports, minutes).
• Perform other duties as assigned; may work outside normal hours and travel occasionally.
