Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking a qualified Facilities Engineer to join its 24/7 operations team in Hong Kong, overseeing critical electrical, mechanical, and safety systems in high-availability facilities. You will lead shift technicians, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to energy efficiency and compliance initiatives.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 3+ years of related experience, plus willingness to work 24/7 shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operation and maintenance of 24/7 mission-critical facilities, ideally data centers or telecom environments.
• Strong understanding of EHS standards, ISO audit processes, and vendor management.
• Good command of English and Chinese; able to support night shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift technicians in daily operations, inspections, and preventive maintenance of electrical, mechanical, BMS, and fire safety systems.
• Ensure 24/7 operational continuity and high availability in line with SLA and performance standards.
• Respond to facility alarms, diagnose faults, perform recoveries, and manage escalations.
• Supervise third-party vendors and contractors on-site, ensuring safety, rules, and quality.
• Act as Project Engineer for A&A works and system upgrade projects.
• Monitor facility metrics (PUE, capacity, health) and suggest energy efficiency improvements.
• Support capacity planning and assist with ISO certifications, site audits, and EHS compliance.
