Job summary

Xenus Technology Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support professional to be the first line contact for the maintenance team, delivering 7x24 on-site technical support on a roster basis. You will monitor systems with Grafana/Prometheus, respond to incidents, and manage Linux/Windows servers, Docker and Kubernetes, plus networking equipment.

The role requires a Diploma in IT and 1–4 years’ experience, with English and Cantonese/Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher diploma in IT or related field.
Strong networking knowledge and Windows/Linux admin experience.
Experience with system configuration, shell scripting and patch management.
Knowledge of Docker and containers and Exchange server is a plus.
Fluent English and Cantonese or Mandarin communication.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first line contact for the maintenance team and provide 7x24 on-site support.
Monitor system health and uptime using observability tools (Grafana/Prometheus).
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve system, network and cybersecurity issues.
Maintain Linux/Windows servers, VMs, Docker/Kubernetes and network gear.
Execute disaster recovery, business continuity and data restoration tasks.
Apply operating system and software patches.
