Design & Technology Technician - Secondary School in Newham

Are you passionate about Design & Technology and eager to inspire the next generation of creators? We are looking for a dedicated DT Technician to join our thriving secondary school in Newham.

As a DT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our Design & Technology department, ensuring that students and teachers have everything they need for engaging, hands-on learning.

1. Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for lessons
2. Maintaining and servicing machinery, ensuring health & safety standards
3. Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions
4. Managing stock levels and ordering supplies
5. Ensuring a safe and organised workshop environment

1. Experience working with DT equipment (woodwork, metalwork, electronics, or CAD/CAM)
2. Knowledge of health & safety procedures in a workshop setting
3. A proactive and organised approach to work
4. The ability to support students with practical tasks
5. Previous experience in a similar role or relevant technical background is desirable
