A national logistics company based in the North East of England is searching for a Warehouse Operative. The role requires a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and involves duties such as picking, packing, and operating FLT trucks. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. This position offers long-term work opportunities with the potential for permanent employment. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience driving a Counterbalance FLT truck.
- Must have a valid Counterbalance licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
- Good organisation and multi-tasking skills.
Responsabilités
- Perform general warehouse duties including picking and packing.
- Drive FLT trucks when required.
- Receive and store incoming goods accurately.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
Connaissances
Aspired talent are looking for a Warehouse Operative with an FLT Counterbalance licence to work for a national company on the day shift working 8am -5pm Monday to Friday
This is long-term work with the opportunity of securing a permanent position.
This is a hands on, all rounder, warehouse and FLT role.
Your main duties will be that of general warehouse duties. including picking, packing, lifting with the requirement to drive the FLT trucks at times.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 6 Months experience driving a Counterbalance FLT truck
- Have own transport or be able to get to locations if needed
- Ideally be able to provide a previous work reference
- Have good communication skills
- Be a team player
- Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
- Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
- Unpacking and storing incoming goods
- Organising stock for deliveries
- Moving goods around the warehouse as required
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
A valid Counterbalance licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
Experience driving and operating a FLT Counterbalance
Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task
Strong spatial awareness
