About This Role

Are you ready to shape the future of naval training innovation on a global scale? As the Leader of Global Naval Market Development, you will be at the forefront of strategic transformation, driving multi‑million dollar deals and leading cross‑regional teams to deliver industry‑defining solutions for naval forces worldwide.

We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive our Naval business line, bridging the gap between advanced technical capabilities and evolving customer requirements.

You will lead a virtual, cross‑functional team to deliver industry‑leading, differentiated solutions that maintain our competitive edge in core and adjacent markets. Success will be measured against the virtual P&L performance of your business line. You will leverage your experience in military naval operational readiness training and operations, bringing a deep understanding of complex mission training environments and requirements for naval mission readiness. Partnership management with OEMs and key industry players is a must.

Join CAE and turn your strategic vision for next‑generation naval training into reality!

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Strategic Growth: Spearhead the capture and shaping of complex, high‑value opportunities in OEM and governmental environments, leveraging your deep expertise in the naval sector and proven business acumen.

  • Build and Inspire Teams: Motivate and guide a high‑performing, virtual team of professionals, fostering collaboration and innovation across regions and disciplines.

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Define and execute a business plan measured against a virtual P&L, ensuring our solutions remain differentiated, competitive, and aligned with customer needs.

  • Deliver Impactful Solutions: Oversee the development and alignment of solutions and B&P teams, ensuring high PWIN across the pipeline and strategic operational intelligence.

  • Champion Innovation: Lead funding mechanisms for emerging technology needs, and identify opportunities for R&D investment that directly address evolving customer requirements.

Who You Are
  • An individual with significant credibility in maritime warfighting capability generation with a senior military and corporate audience

  • A visionary leader with at least 10 years’ experience in business development, capture management, sales, proposal, or program management within the naval sector.

  • An exceptional communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders at every level—employees, customers, and partners alike.

  • A strategic thinker with the agility to make sound decisions in fast‑moving, competitive environments, even under uncertainty.

  • A mentor and motivator, committed to developing expertise and creating opportunities for growth within your team.

Why This Role Matters

CAE is a global leader in simulation and training solutions for naval forces, offering cutting‑edge systems for everything from individual sailor skills to full‑ship and multi‑ship collective training. Our technology—including the Naval Combat System Simulator (NCSS) and advanced training methodology—empowers naval professionals to excel in disciplines such as anti‑air, anti‑surface and anti‑submarine warfare, constabulary roles and assistance to civilian missions such as search and rescue. As the Naval Business Line Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of industry innovation, driving strategic alignment and operational success across global markets.
