A leading fast-food chain in England is seeking a Yard / Maintenance Person to manage stock unloading and maintain cleanliness. The role involves ensuring safety protocols are followed while handling heavy stock, emptying bins, and maintaining the yard. Yard / Maintenance Person Shifts: - Tue 10am‑7pm - Wed 12pm‑8pm - Thu 7am‑1pm - Fri 12pm‑8pm - Sun 2pm‑10pm
• Ensure suitable uniform (high‑visibility vest, gloves, hat, safety boots) and prepare for McDonald’s delivery truck arrival. • Push and unload cages from the truck to stock rooms; move heavy cages and boxes one at a time. • Check all stock for quantities, temperatures, and damages. • Unload and put away stock in designated areas: frozen, freezer, chilled, dry stock rooms. • Follow First‑In‑First‑Out stock rotation and replenish store floor shortages. • Break down empty cardboard boxes and place them into cages ready for recycling.
The role is manual with safe lifting and carrying requirements.
