- Approximately 6 years experience in chemical or process engineering ideally within a start-up research or advanced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and modelling capability with tools such as COMSOL, Aspen or CFD.
- Experienced in the scale-up of new or innovative processes from development to commercial operation.
- Skilled in creating a safe working environment; familiar with HAZOP and process safety management.
- A motivated hands-on engineer with strong leadership and problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of process trials and testing programmes with the CTO.
- Manage analytical and modelling workstreams using advanced simulation and process tools to achieve development milestones.
- Act as the link between R&D outputs and full-scale operations ensuring smooth technology transfer and safe scale-up.
- Plan and deliver the technology development roadmap identifying opportunities for process enhancement and product improvement.
- Support operations and engineering teams to resolve production challenges and guide continuous improvement efforts.
