Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a CAMHS Practitioner to join a well‑established NHS service in Rochdale. This is a full‑time locum position, Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm.
We are seeking a skilled mental health professional with experience in neurodevelopmental assessments, particularly in working with children and young people presenting with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).
- Conduct both urgent and routine mental health assessments for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health needs.
- Carry out neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and ASC as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families, schools, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS and CQC standards.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and safeguarding processes.
- Provide support and guidance to families and carers.
- Professional registration with NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England.
- Experience working within a CAMHS or paediatric mental health setting.
- Proven experience in neurodevelopmental assessments (ADHD/ASC).
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
