Location: Rochdale (NHS Service)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Contract Type: Locum (Temporary)

Pay Rate: £26.00 per hour (via umbrella)

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a CAMHS Practitioner to join a well‑established NHS service in Rochdale. This is a full‑time locum position, Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm.

We are seeking a skilled mental health professional with experience in neurodevelopmental assessments, particularly in working with children and young people presenting with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct both urgent and routine mental health assessments for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health needs.
  • Carry out neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and ASC as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families, schools, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS and CQC standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and safeguarding processes.
  • Provide support and guidance to families and carers.
Essential Requirements
  • Professional registration with NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England.
  • Experience working within a CAMHS or paediatric mental health setting.
  • Proven experience in neurodevelopmental assessments (ADHD/ASC).
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
