Job summary
A leading legal recruitment agency in England is seeking an experienced planning lawyer to lead the location planning team. This role involves managing major planning applications and working with FTSE 250 clients, providing significant opportunities for career development in a well-regarded firm. Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of experience in planning law and a desire to make a real impact.

A well-established and highly-regarded regional commercial law firm, our client has a multi-office presence. Legal 500 and Chambers rated, the firm has a particular strength in the property sector and a reputation for punching well above its weight.
This is a ready-made role for an experienced lawyer to be location planning lead as part of a wider planning team, working with clients including national FTSE 250 and regional house builders. The interesting portfolio of work includes: major planning applications; planning enquiries on major developments; and planning support on individual projects.
You may currently be an experienced private practice lawyer or an in-house lawyer interested in a return to private practice. You may be looking for a step-up in terms of responsibility, or to move from a more anonymous role elsewhere.
You are likely to have at least 8 years’ of relevant experience and be looking for an opportunity to bring your skills to bear in a firm where you can really make a difference and in a role which will offers much in terms of career development.
