Our client, a leading independent financial advisory and asset management firm, is seeking a highly skilled UK Tax Accountant for a 6-month fixed term contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a global network of relationships with key decision-makers in corporations, governments, and investing institutions. The successful candidate will assist the UK Tax Manager in day-to-day tax compliance and consulting for all UK entities as well as some offshore operations.
What you'll do:
As a UK Tax Accountant, your role will be pivotal in supporting the UK Tax Manager in managing day-to-day tax compliance and consulting activities. You will be involved in various aspects of taxation, including corporation tax, VAT, payroll related duties, and tax accounting. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be crucial in preparing annual corporation tax computations, managing VAT returns, and ensuring VAT liabilities are settled on time. Your ability to prioritise tasks will be essential as you balance various responsibilities such as assisting with payroll duties, preparing tax figures for annual accounts, and providing general support to the UK Tax Manager.
