A leading cancer care organization in the UK is seeking a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) for Ellis Ward. The role involves providing compassionate and efficient nursing care to patients undergoing complex treatments. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a completed Care Certificate. Opportunities for flexible working arrangements are available. This position plays a vital role in patient care within an established multidisciplinary team.
An opportunity has arisen for a HCA to join Ellis Ward. Ellis Ward is a busy 14 bedded female ward with an established team of experienced nurses and allied health professionals. We care for patients undergoing complex surgeries, inpatient chemotherapy, brachytherapy and managing of patient’s symptoms caused by their treatment or cancer. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, adaptable, and compassionate individual to join our team.
The post holder should possess excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, carers and the wider multidisciplinary team. You will be able to demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner, the ability to problem solve, prioritise tasks and have good organisational skills. The post holder should also have completed their care certificate.
