A leading ICT services provider is seeking a qualified Radio Communications Technician in Wales. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot communication systems across diverse environments, ensuring high standards of efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate has a Cert III in Electronics and Communications and experience in two-way radio systems. This position requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to travel.

We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Radio Communications Technician to join our Field Operations Team. This role is dedicated to the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of communication systems across a range of environments including mine sites, mobile plant, vehicles, and infrastructure. As a critical part of the WA operational technical team, this role contributes to the delivery of services to support our client base on-site and from our Perth workshop. As this is a customer facing role, the successful applicant must ensure that our standards of efficiency, safety and quality are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
Passionate about radio communications and RF technologies.
Experienced in conventional and trunked radio systems and IP-based communications.
Proficient with RF test equipment such as Anritsu RF testers, Keysight Spectrum Analyzers, and Viavi Network Testers.
Comfortable working at heights and in remote environments.
Able to work independently or collaboratively on metro and regional projects.
Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Willing to travel and participate in after-hours support as required.
