You will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at The Woodmill, a service for women requiring rehabilitation to support them in getting back into the community. Your responsibilities will include cleaning all areas of the service, such as wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitors areas.

Working closely with the maintenance team, you’ll ensure all areas are spotless and deliver high standards of cleaning services.

Your working hours will be 16 hours per week, with shifts as follows: Monday to Friday, 4pm to 7pm one week, and Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 7pm, plus 3 hours on Sunday the following week.

As a Part Time Housekeeper, your duties will include:

• Maintaining security standards by following hospital policies and procedures.
• Being an active team member with responsibilities over daily operations.
• Providing excellent telephone etiquette and greeting visitors professionally.
• Building and maintaining good relationships with staff, visitors, and service users.
• Contributing to a positive workplace culture.
• Performing any other appropriate tasks as requested.
• Attending mandatory and statutory training annually as required.

To succeed in this role, you should:

• Have previous cleaning experience in a similar environment.
• Enjoy cleaning and take pride in your work.

The Woodmill is a mental health service for women requiring rehabilitation to support their reintegration into the community, including conditions such as personality disorders, Autism, and related challenges. It offers a less restrictive environment for those transitioning from secure ward settings and supports active rehabilitation and community participation.
