Description
Our client is a leading name within the investment management industry. They are now looking to recruit a Performance Analyst to join their high-performing team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Reporting to the Head of Performance, the Performance Analyst will be responsible for:
- Calculating and analysing performance and attribution using specific performance systems and manual spreadsheets
- Producing performance reports
- Developing performance data and systems to improve reporting processes
- Leading data-centric projects to enhance efficiency within the Performance team
- Writing commentaries to explain fund performance
- Enhancing current reporting processes using advanced Excel, VBA, and SQL
The Performance Analyst should have:
- 1-3 years experience within an investment management firm
- Experience in report production within investment operations (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly numerate, with a numerical degree preferred
- Proficiency in VBA/SQL and Python beneficial
This role offers an exciting opportunity for junior candidates with strong buy-side operations experience, especially in Performance or Data Analysis, aiming to advance their career as a Performance Analyst in a dynamic team at an award-winning asset management house.
