Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence required.

Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Birmingham & surrounding areas (regional role)

Salary: Up to £37,000 + exceptional benefits

A well-established compliance and environmental services company is looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their growing Midlands team.

This is a regional role covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas - minimal travel, great team support, and genuine long-term progression opportunities into consultancy, auditing or management.

The Role

You’ll carry out comprehensive Legionella risk assessments across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, providing accurate reports, practical recommendations and strong customer service.

Typical duties include:

  • Conducting Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274
  • Producing clear, detailed reports and site schematics
  • Advising clients on remedial actions and control measures
  • Liaising with operations teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Supporting continuous improvement and compliance standards across the region
What You’ll Need
  • Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor within water hygiene or environmental compliance
  • Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274
  • City & Guilds or equivalent Legionella Risk Assessment qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication, organisation and reporting skills
