Job summary
A specialist recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors is looking for a Project Management Assessor / Trainer. This home/field-based role requires strong Project Management skills and experience in training. The position offers a salary of up to £31,000 and various benefits. Essentials Criteria:
- Must hold recent occupational competency in Project Management (in the last 5 years).
- Must hold a Project Management qualificiation such as: PRINCE2, APM or similar Project Management qualification
- Hold OR willing to work towards an Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
- Ideally have experience of internal training, with a passion for learning and development.
- Must be confident with Maths, English and IT skills
- Excellent communication skills (Welsh speaker desirable)
- Full, clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
Duties:
- Train, assess and deliver Apprenticeship in Project Management and Leadership & Management.
- Support learners to achieve the Essential Skills in Literacy, Digital Literacy and Numeracy.
- Lead informal discussions and exploration of latest trends and sharing experiences.
- Manage a caseload of learners supporting them online and in person throughout their Apprenticeship, through to end-point assessment.
- Plan and deliver effective training and assessment based on individual learner needs
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner s needs.
- Work to learner review and completion timescales.
