Job summary

A specialist recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors is looking for a Project Management Assessor / Trainer. This home/field-based role requires strong Project Management skills and experience in training. The position offers a salary of up to £31,000 and various benefits. Qualifications

  • Must hold recent occupational competency in Project Management (in the last 5 years).

  • Full, clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.

  • Manage a caseload of learners, supporting them both online and in person.
  • Plan and deliver effective training and assessment based on individual learner needs.

Job Title: Project Management Assessor / Trainer (Unqualified Trainer opportunity)

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across Wales

Salary: up to £31,000 + fantastic benefits package

Type: Full Time / Permanent

Essentials Criteria:

  • Must hold recent occupational competency in Project Management (in the last 5 years).
  • Must hold a Project Management qualificiation such as: PRINCE2, APM or similar Project Management qualification
  • Hold OR willing to work towards an Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
  • Ideally have experience of internal training, with a passion for learning and development.
  • Must be confident with Maths, English and IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills (Welsh speaker desirable)
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.

Duties:

  • Train, assess and deliver Apprenticeship in Project Management and Leadership & Management.
  • Support learners to achieve the Essential Skills in Literacy, Digital Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Lead informal discussions and exploration of latest trends and sharing experiences.
  • Manage a caseload of learners supporting them online and in person throughout their Apprenticeship, through to end-point assessment.
  • Plan and deliver effective training and assessment based on individual learner needs
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner s needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion timescales.
