Responsible to: Technical Programme Manager, ICT Projects, Technical Project Manager, ICT Projects
JOB PURPOSE
The post-holder will report directly to the Technical Programme and Project Manager and will be required to work effectively with senior staff across the directorate and EA.
The Assistant Technical Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of ICT projects through the full project life cycle. They will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to monitor project progress and provide oversight to ensure projects are completed promptly and within budget.
Being an ICT specialist means the postholder is expected to keep pace with ICT trends and developments.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Factor Essential Criteria Method of Assessment Qualifications/Hold a an HNC or above or an equivalent qualification relating to Business Administration, Management or Information Technology and have two years’ demonstrable experience working in the field of Project Management;
OR
Have four years’ demonstrable experience working in the field ofProject Management.
Have demonstrable experience of working to deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously, where you have made an impact within your role.
Have demonstrable experience of Project Management techniques including the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver high quality outcomes.
Have demonstrable experience of building and maintaining successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
