A leading manufacturing company seeks a Project Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne. You'll lead teams, manage customer relationships, and ensure project delivery. The ideal candidate has experience in strategic planning within the manufacturing sector, strong problem-solving skills, and a full UK driving license. This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive benefits and development opportunities.
As a Project Manager you will develop and maintain the relationship with company customers to ensure committed delivery hours and outputs are achieved, providing effective leadership to those you work with.
To apply, we ask that you have experience of strategic planning in the manufacturing industry and in particular, businesses that manufacture components for various industries such as aerospace, oil and gas, nuclear and defence, as well as a machine shop environment.
With the ability to ensure the business meets customer requirements/deadlines, candidates must demonstrate their ability to effectively communicate to maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues.
The environment is ever changing and being able to strategically plan operations, complemented with the ability to adapt and work to tight deadlines is essential. You will be driven by results, with the ability to plan and deliver against production deadlines, with a keen attention to detail.
As a leader, you will provide guidance to the teams you work closely with, being analytical, with proven strong problems solving skills.
Due to the requirement to visit customers at their sites, candidates need to have a full UK driving licence.
This position will be on a full time, permanent basis, working dayshift 37 hours per week.
Employment is subject to a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check and further vetting may be required.
