We are looking for an experienced Structural Technician with RC detailing experience to join an established consultancy in Cardiff on a permanent basis. You will be part of a vibrant and talented design team. Senior candidates will also be considered.

This practice has an outstanding reputation locally, with low staff turnover. Most work is from repeat clients, with projects up to £30m. We seek someone personable, with strong communication skills and a good sense of humour, as building relationships is key.

This role involves:

• Detailing reinforced concrete structures for various sectors, including basements and concrete frames
• Liaising with design engineers
• Delivering work within agreed timescales, programs, and budgets
• Working independently with motivation
• Communicating effectively and understanding the design process
• Detailing elements like columns, slabs, and foundations

Preferred candidates will have:

• ONC or HNC or equivalent in Building Structures or Civil Engineering
• At least 2 years' UK experience in building structures
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit

Candidates with experience in either AutoCAD or Revit will be considered.
