Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Thornaby-on-Tees is seeking a Graduate & Entry Level Engineer to join their Offshore Services Division. In this role, you'll work on producing risk assessments, developing engineering solutions, and collaborating with project teams on complex global projects. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Engineering, strong computer skills, and a willingness to learn. This position offers a competitive salary, hybrid working policy, and numerous benefits including an annual bonus scheme and 25 days holiday.

- Strong computer skills, including CAD (AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent English and UK right to work.
Responsibilities
- Produce risk assessments, method statements, and engineering calculation packages.
- Form part of the onsite engineering team to support project execution.
- Develop engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport challenges.
- Create drawings, manuals, and technical documentation using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safe, efficient execution.

- Produce risk assessments, method statements, and engineering calculation packages to support on‑site projects.
- Form part of the onsite engineering team to support project execution at sites across the globe.
- Develop engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport challenges.
- Create drawings, manuals, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and proprietary software.
- Use specialist tools such as Optimoor for barge mooring design and in‑house barge ballasting software.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safe, efficient execution.
- Build expertise in Mammoet equipment and its applications.
- A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong computer skills, including CAD (AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent English and UK right to work.
- A driving licence is desirable or working towards.
(Graduate Engineers may bring additional academic experience; Entry‑Level Engineers should demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.)
