What You’ll Be Doing

Martin-Baker is the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats, helping to protect aircrew in the world’s most advanced military aircraft. Our mission is simple - to save aircrew lives.

Join us on this mission as a Senior Programme Manager within our Programmes team. You'll provide a pivotal role with shaping assigned projects across agreed programmes of work and report on the progress of technical, engineering and associated activities. You'll ensure that projects are managed, coordinated and completed in accordance with expectations, you'll also guide the work of support and technical colleagues assigned to specific projects. If you have seasoned projects or programme management experience, this opportunity will be appealing to you.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include establishing project plans, initiating internal work orders ensuring they are communicated to relevant departments, resources are appropriately allocated and that project costs are monitored.

Characteristics & Skills

• Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Broad project management experience including new product intiation (NPI)
• Have an eye for detail and getting things right
• Know how to listen and communicate effectively with others
• Share your knowledge freely with others.
• Committed to the highest standards.
• Demonstrate ethics and integrity in your thinking.
