A healthcare service provider in the UK seeks a qualified Educational Mental Health Practitioner to join their Wellbeing & Emotional Support Teams. The part-time role focuses on delivering low-intensity CBT interventions to children and young people in various schools while promoting mental health awareness. Due to a recent expansion of theWellbeing & Emotional Support Teams (WEST), Herefordshire team we are nowseeking a qualified EMHP to join our fantastic team.
The WEST team are a forward thinking,supportive & hardworking team that is continuously developing asindividuals and a service. We provide high quality, evidence-based CBT interventionsto Children & Young People in Schools and focus on a Whole School Approachto make the schools we work with a mentally healthy environment for CYP.

This is a part time role working 30 hours per week.
We are a busy team,covering 49 schools and colleges in Herefordshire.You will be delivering low intensity CBT interventions (1:1 or group) in youraligned schools as well as delivering Whole School Approach activities, keepingthe CYP at the heart of everything you do.
Under the support ofoperational lead, clinical lead & senior practitioners you will manage acaseload of patients and complete assessments, care plans & other relevantdocumentation whilst maintaining the fidelity of the low intensity CBT model.
An understanding ofrisk management & safeguarding is imperative for this role, and you will besupported with managing this within the team.
You will also receiveregular case management & clinical skills supervision to support youclinically as well as participate in MDT/screening meetings.
You will work closelywith families, school staff & other professions and at times deliverconsultations & signposting advice to other agencies. Thus, stronginterpersonal skills are key.
