A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking enthusiastic Healthcare Support Workers for their North Kent Community Rehabilitation Service. The role involves supporting service users with mental health needs, facilitating therapeutic activities, and assisting with individual care plans. The Community Rehabilitation Service provides a flexible range of mental health interventions to help clients with complex mental health needs to manage their mental health more effectively and remain in their own homes.
The team works in close partnership with Social Care and housing providers to ensure each client has the necessary resources available to enable them to engage in their rehab journey. Across the Community Rehabilitation teams, the clinical team consists of Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses, and VCSE Workers.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Support Workers to join our North Kent Community Rehabilitation Service. Post one will cover Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley. Post two will cover Medway and Swale.
Individuals may be expected to ensure the team is able to provide input between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 according to the needs of the service, including working some evenings, weekends and public holidays.
The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
