A leading educational support provider is seeking a full-time Mental Health Support Assistant to join an inclusive team in Westminster. This role involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, ensuring their access to mainstream education through tailored assistance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with teachers and the Special Needs Co-ordinator, playing a vital role in the educational journey of vulnerable students. The position offers £22,000 pro rata for term time, with immediate start available.

A Mental Health Support Assistant is required to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs in an amazing Westminster Primary.
You will be part of a very inclusive team, ensuring that all pupils are able to have access to mainstream class teaching, through your support and teamwork with other staff and external support frameworks.
As a capable Mental Health Support Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in a very important stage of the pupil’s education. Owing to the COVID pandemic there has been a surge of Mental Health issues created and magnified. The school is a very inclusive environment and understands the benefit of having a Mental Health Support Assistant supporting their most vulnerable pupils and allowing them to continue to access the excellent teaching at the school.
This is a full-time Mental Health Support Assistant position available for the duration of the coming academic year. The school has a very strong leadership team and an experience Special Needs Co-ordinator, who will work closely with you to ensure your support is tailored and appropriate to the pupil/s you will be working with.
