Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Laundry Maintenance Engineer for a long-established company in Christchurch. This role involves servicing commercial laundry equipment, including washing machines and tumble dryers, across Dorset, Hampshire, and Wiltshire. Experience in laundry maintenance and good electrical competency are essential. The position offers a competitive salary starting at £30,000 per annum with several benefits, including company pension and sick pay. This role operates Monday to Friday with a 37.5 hour workweek.

- Provide service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment.

- Cover areas in Dorset, Hampshire, and Wiltshire.
Skills
We are recruiting for a Laundry Maintenance Engineer for a long established company in Christchurch.
Hours: 37.5 hour week between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday with a half an hour lunch break. Salary: starts at £30,000 per annum but potentially negotiable depending on experience.
- Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment - commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble driers and rotary irons.
- Working on electrical and gas fired laundry equipment.
- Covering Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
- Working with clients such as nursing homes, offices, holiday parks, hotels etc.
- Laundry equipment service experience - any laundry maintenance experience would be considered
- Gas or electrical relevant gas certificates - CCLNG1, CLE would be beneficial but is not essential
- Having a white goods or domestic gas appliances background would also be considered
